Tentative Schedule!!!!

Well after a long wait which seemed to be forever I finally met with HR and got the offer package for my relocation. I will officially become an ExPatriot sometime in July! I will be living in Brisbane and working in the CBD (Central Business District).

Here is my schedule (it could get pushed back by a week or two depending upon the visa approval):

07/06/2007: Last day of work at CitiStreet US
07/11/2007: Fly to Brisbane from Boston
07/13/2007: Arrive in Brisbane (not a typo- its a two day journey)
07/18/2007: Start work at CitiStreet AU

I will be flying into the dead of the Brisbane Winter! Luckily the average temperature is going to be somewhere in the 50's - 60's!

Remember to use the 'comments' feature at the bottom of these posts to leave me your comments on things I have written etc... Remember they are open for all to read!

Wow - congrats Ernie. Can't believe it's finally happening. I can't wait to see what it's like down there. I think the Lady Burds and I may have to have a suppah club down there. Enjoy it!!!

Gotta love the AU lingo. I think I am going to hear the locals out prior to using any of their lingo. I could get some very strange looks trying to fit in with the lingo and a bad Boston accent!
